Are you eligible?
To be eligible for financial assistance through EMAP, you must be an Atlantic-based SME undertaking incremental activities that aim to improve business to business sales outside of Canada. Eligible applicants must have generated revenue in the last year.
The following industry sectors are not eligible: retail / wholesale, real estate, government services, personal / social services and softwood lumber. Professional services are generally not eligible applicants. Consultant travel and trade show attendance fees are also not eligible for reimbursement.
Applicants cannot make any financial commitments prior to submission, or costs incurred will not be eligible.
Please note that meeting the eligibility requirements does not mean that your application will be approved. All applications are subject to an evaluation process once eligibility is determined. - Priority will be given to current exporters and to applications that clearly demonstrate how the activity will impact growth of international business to business sales (B2B).
How much $ is available?
For the period between April 30 and September 30, 2020, the total project contribution will be 80% of eligible costs (instead of the usual 65%) up to a maximum of $18,462.
